First 1000 days Program and Information Education Campaign Food is the most essential factor in the growth and health of a new born child, and a pregnant mother.
Under the leadership of Mayor Riza Rodriguez Peralta, “Meal Packs” were distributed for infants and pregnant mothers as part of the program: “First 1000 Days” of National Nutrition Council. The distribution of meal packs was made to ensure the
implementation of R.A 11148 or also known as “Kalusugan at Nutrisiyon ng Mag-Nanay Act of 2018”
The program was assisted by the RHU Balungao Staff under the leadership of Dr. Cheryl Mae Hernandez-De Castro, and through Ma’am Cecile Mae Hernandez-Doculan, MNAO Designate.
