Financial Support Distribution to Tobacco Farmers for Crop Year 2020-2021 and 2022-2023, happened last April 28, 2023 at Jose Peralta Sr. Hall.
Vice Mayor Philipp Peralta attended the event and put emphasis that though there was a recent Local Budget Memorandum issued about the decrease of LGU Share on excise tax, through their leadership, they will still continue to provide the best assistance to all the farmers.
Attending the event were, Municipal Councilor Roderick Soriano-Committee Chairman on Agriculture, Ma’am Edna Parlaoan, Ma’am Marina Pine, Sir VIrgilio Rabang from National Tobacco Administration, and Sir Jerry Rigor from Universal Leaf Philippines Inc.
Assisting the Financial Distribution were members of the Office of Municipal Agriculturist headed by Ma’am Regina Oliveros.
