 What we do 

The Office of the Municipal Agriculturist of Balungao, Pangasinan, serving the clients is our day to day commitment. As the agricultural arm of the Municipal government, we are honored to be at service to all farmers in the municipality and form other places if needed. Our office is open form 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and always to serve you on, the following areas:

• Extend Technical assistance on crops and livestock
• Conduct training on crops and livestock production and other related trainings to agriculture.
• Conduct massive deworming / vaccination of animals
• Assist farmer’s association /  organization to register in Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)  / Cooperative Development Authority (CDA).
• Conduct Techno Demo on crops and livestock.
• Distribution of quality rice / corn hybrid seeds, rice certified seeds and other farm inputs.
• Distribution of tilapia fingerlings dispersal
• Assist seed growers in seed production and certification
• Assist in the issuance of veterinary Shipping Permit
• Assist farmers in marketing their produce
• Provision of Technology information in printed materials and video tapes.

 OUR SERVICES STANDARDS

Everybody deserves prompt courteous and facilitative services extended by responsive competent and equipped with the technical –know- how staffs.

We are Committed to meet the following standards established for anyone needing our services:

• A quick response to our clienteles call for technical assistance in 5 minutes.
• Immediate action on training 30 minutes from received the letter of request by the Municipal Mayor.
• Release of rice hybrid seeds, corn hybrid seed and certified seed in 5 minutes form payment.
• Submit application for seed certification in 1 hour to NSQCS, Tebag, Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan upon completion of the requirements.
• Conduct Massive deworming / vaccination of animals on the target schedule per barangay.
• Provide available technology information in print to farmers in 5 minutes form the time of request.
• Conduct techno demo on the target schedule.
• Release Veterinary Shipping Permit in 5 Minutes form receipt.
