Having five (5) COVID-19 positive cases, Barangay Pugaro, Balungao, Pangasinan is declared a critical zone. The entire Barangay will be on Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) and under localized lockdown from October 8 (Thursday) at 12:00 noon through October 21 (Wednesday) at 11:59 pm. No one is allowed to enter and exit Barangay Pugaro within the duration of the lockdown.

Only the residences of the (four) 4 separate cases from Barangays Poblacion, San Aurelio 1st, San Aurelio 3rd and Esmeralda shall also be on localized lockdown and their families shall be on strict home quarantine until October 21, 2020.

As a standard procedure, a certification shall be issued by the Municipal Health Office to the residents of Barangay Pugaro working outside Balungao indicating the reason for his or her nonattendances at work.

This measure is to prevent movements in the community in order to easily detect signs and symptoms of the virus or the possible infection of other community members. We need everyone’s understanding and cooperation so as to prevent certain chain of events that might lead to the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
