MANDATORY WEARING OF FACE MASK
Provincial Ordinance No. 235-2020
Section 6 of Provincial Ordinance No. 235-2020 provides for the penalties for any person who fails to wear a face mask during the period of community quarantine, viz:
FIRST OFFENSE – Fine of Php 1,000.00 and/or shall attend community service for least three (3) hours.
SECOND OFFENSE – Fine of Php 2,500.00 or an imprisonment of not more than thirty (30) days or both at the discretion of the courts.
THIRD OFFENSE – Fine of Php 5,000.00 or an imprisonment of not more than sixty (60) days or both at the discretion of the courts.
