Agriculture

The Office of the Municipal Agriculturist is mandated to provide agricultural extension works for the improvement of the socio-economic condition of the farmers in the municipality. With the strong support extended by the Local Chief Executive, Hon. Philipp G. Peralta to this office, a lot of significant projects/activities were successfully accomplished to boost agricultural productivity, profitability and sustainability.

Moreover, these projects/activities are instrumental to generate employment in the rural areas and consequently, making the business sector vibrant contributing to attain faster growth and development of
the municipality.

For the year 2018, the following projects/activities were accomplished by this office in partnership with the Department of Agriculture and attached agencies/bureaus with the initiative of the Local Chief Executive, Hon. Philipp G. Peralta and strong participation of the private sector.
